Basic Fire training enables individuals to manage fire emergencies. (Teach your staff the basics of fire safety management / using extinguishers, being proactive in an emergency.)
We offer the following training:
•Basic Fire Orientation. Full day course (on site)
– R750 per person , minimum 5 people
•Fire equipment Orientation half day course (on site)
– R350 pp (inc Vat) Minimum 10
Summary:
The course objective is to educate all participants on the basic principles of fire and fire extinguishment. Upon completion the participant will be able to identify the types of fires, select the correct extinguishment medium and contain or suppress all incipient fires within their environment. And manage a fire emergency situation.

- Hot work and permits
- Flammable liquids and gases
- Electricity and fire
Practical component:
• The use of all types of available fire equipment
• Approach of hot and cold doors
• Moving through fire and smoke
• The correct method of checking the fire extinguishers
• Workshop including a fire risk assessment by the course participants for presentation at the following OHS meeting
