An Evacuation Plan is drafted in accordance with the national regulations. This ensures that the building design and construction will be compliant to facilitate safe means of escape.
The following parameters are evaluated:
• Building occupancy
• Building size
• Escape route construction
• Escape route distances
• Assembly points
• Means of alert |
• Emergency procedures
• Emergency equipment
• Evacuation signage
• Employee training
• Emergency team resources
• Business recovery |
When completing the evacuation plans the building will be audited and all non compliances identified in a corrective report.
Completed Plan includes:
• Evacuation procedures
• Policy on the evacuation plan management i.e. training, drills etc.
• Evacuation drill assessment documentation
The clients are required to produce the following documents:
• Building floor plans- PDF
• Certificate of occupancy
• Latest fire risk assessment
